weekend project numero uno
Pretty much ever since my little brother Pat moved up my way, I’ve been percolating several ideas about the PERFECT mix CD for him. Pat naturally gravitated towards the excellent music of the indie rock persuasion, thank goodness.
Music is a seriously vital part of my life — I need it like water. My tastes are pretty eclectic, and lately I’ve been listening to everything from...
ever have days like this?
Bahaha! Thanks to my friend Michael for introducing me to this wonderfully sadistic blog. Just what I need on a day like today! http://myfirstdictionary.blogspot.com/
On the plus side, only have one more test today and then I get to look forward to assisting my first knitting class this weeeeeeeeeeeeek (singsong!)!!!! SUPER EXCITED!
P.S. Shoutout to all my lovely fans who read this. Especially...
its etsy saturday!
Its Saturday night, which means I don’t have anything else to do but procrastinate and find inspirational crafty things on Etsy.com! I luuuurve this site oh-so-much. Its great if you are looking for that special one-of-a-kind thing for that person that is hard to shop for. Or easy to shop for. I tend to want everything. Hint. Hint.
This is like $60 bucks on Etsy. Um yeah…thats just...
I'm just so excited! And I just can't hide it!

Dreams DO come true!
Haha. Well like I hyphenated above, its definitely not a paying job. Yet. :-3 But I went to my LYS (local yarn store) that I always go to, called Sew E-Z Too on Garland. Its a fabric store too, with some needlecraft and quilting....
nerd-dom at its greatest
Okay, peoples, I know usually I put up pictures of all my crafty finished objects, but this time, this pic is from my friend Emily. I love that she liked it so much she posted it on her facebook!
The deets:
— my trusty quilt pen (to sketch on the molecular structure for caffeine!!)
— some felt scraps (I think I got them from Michael’s ages ago)
— a cardboard coffee...
what normal people do...? no? just me?
Yes, yes…while all of the other 20-somethings in this small town go out with their sex, drugs, and rock and roll (or whatever you do on a Friday night), I sit at home and browse weird Japanese fabric sites. :-3 Even though I am only 20, I feel like an old lady most of the time — as many of my friends can attest to — just because I would rather do things like drool over fabrics...
another eventful friday evening...
A Friday without working is so weird for me! So I have decided to snuggle up with the feline (still recovering from her first interaction with catnip, poor thing) and catch up with The Office episode I missed, maybe work on some top-secret projects for the upcoming holidays.
Her face is one of perpetual boredom. My face is one of perpetual amusement.
Anywhoo, hope y’all have more...
